Nick is currently the Kiosk, POS and OEM Product Manager for Ultimate Technology Corporation (UTC). Prior to moving to UTC, Nick was the Kiosk Solution Manager for Hand Held Products. He was in retail management for nine years (five years as a Wal-Mart Store Manager and four years as an Operations Manager for Marjax Sporting Goods). Nick holds an MBA from SyracuseUniversityin Information Technology and Marketing. At Hand Held Products he solely led their entrance into the kiosk market, taking the company from concept to major market presence in less than two years. Now he is ushering Ultimate Technology into the kiosk space, being asked to manage the creation and growth of the business.
Why do you feel you would make a good Advisory Board member?
I would be a good Advisory Board member because of my varied background. I have worked in retail for many years including time as a manager for Wal-Mart. I led Hand Held Products’ entry into the kiosk space and am currently doing the same for Ultimate Technology. I also hold an MBA from SyracuseUniversityin Marketing and Information Technology. I have served on the Advisory Board for the last two years and am a well-known resource in the kiosk industry. I believe that as our society continues to evolve, the need for self-service technology will grow greatly.
