Why would you make a good Self-Service & Kiosk Association Advisory Board member?
Consumers want seamless access to their information anytime, anyplace. The next generation of consumers “expects†self service everywhere they go, yet integrated with their web, wireless lifestyle. This new generation “lives on the Internet†and can multi-task. The next challenge for our industry will be how to address the needs of this consumer.
This is the most critical time in our industry. Large, enterprise firms, considering the use of extended retailing platforms, need to see a vibrant, marketplace of suppliers and competitors in order to feel comfortable that their current and future needs will be met. Our Industry association gives them a central spot to view and review our offerings as well as see how other comparable firms deploy applications. CIOs have a myriad of technology roadmaps to consider. Our association helps them to make self service a priority in their ecommerce building blocks.
I would like to continue my work with the Association, especially to execute on the development of S3 (Storefront Security Standards for kiosks/digital signs) and expand our marketing campaign, “The Best Service is Self Service.â€
I would be honored to receive your vote and will work hard during my term to make our industry association a success in the marketplace.
